We are facing issue while using "force:createRecord" event in lightning. Its working for Standard object when we are giving entityApiName as "Account" but on the same hand if we are doing it with custom object its not working.

Working:-

 ({
createRecord : function(component, event, helper) {
     var createRecordEvent = $A.get("e.force:createRecord");

    createRecordEvent.setParams({
        "entityApiName": "Account"
    });
    createRecordEvent.fire();
}
})

Not Working:-

({
createRecord : function(component, event, helper) {
     var createRecordEvent = $A.get("e.force:createRecord");

    createRecordEvent.setParams({
        "entityApiName": "CustomeObj__c"
    });
    createRecordEvent.fire();
}
})

  • My custom object createRecord event is working fine in my org. Is your component in one.app container ? ( I know that you said it is working fine for Standard objects but just to recheck. )

This is a winter 18 known issue. Check this link for more. Fixed in most of the data centers and release is in progress.
