Michael Smith

New coder and Linux sysadmin, more a hobby than a career currently although I do a little web development on the side. Most of my coding is done for academic projects as part of my PhD (in Archaeology). Projects are usually research webpages, front-end dev for databases, relational database design etc.

Relatively "competent" in LUA, HTML, CSS and Sass. Working on JavaScript and intending to go onto Ruby and Rails at some point but still a coding newbie. I usually develop using VIM on my VPS (Debian Wheezy), occasionally use Sublime Text 3 with the Afterglow theme and Grunt/Grunt Watch/Grunt BrowserSync on Windows for offline front-end web development.
