The Salesforce app is the mobile app from Salesforce offering access to functionality like access to: records (standard & custom), views, chatter, visual force pages and more! It combines all the good features from the previous Touch and Chatter apps.
Salesforce App (formerly known as Salesforce1 app):
- is available in online & offline mode.
- has a native app for android and iOS.
- has also a web version which can be reached via "your instance"/one/one.app both on mobile and desktop browsers.
- considered a framework that administrators and developers can use to rapidly build customized mobile experiences with little effort.
