We use Conga Composer, so I can at least give you our use case. For example, you have Contracts that get signed between yourself and a client with all the trimmings: customer headers and footers, images of your logo, branding and the wording itself. Now imagine the process of having to constantly edit that document to replace the name of the company signing ...

We recently launched our powerful Salesforce integration at www.outfit.io . We allow designers to build web and print ready branded templates, that you access from within Salesforce by pressing a button to create on demand, on brand, print ready docs from your SF data, or you can bulk create thousands of branded documents from scoped records in SF. If data ...

It's really simple, but I couldn't find a solid help document in the conga site (I often can't). You pass multiple query ids to the queryid parameter, and each query will be run and added to the data returned for use in the conga template. Example from my production org: &queryid=a0gU0000001XIYD,a0gU0000001XIZw,a0gU0000001XIa1 Each query will show ...

Steve, Interesting request. Right now Conga Composer doesn't have the ability to insert text to the Attachment description field, however that is an interesting feature request. I'll surface that as an Idea with our product team. One easy option would be to use the &OFN= parameter and include "Conga" or something similar in the file name. As for ...

Conga Composer Solutions is simply another interface to build/create Conga Composer buttons. Generally, Conga Composer is authored as a custom button/link that resides on a Salesforce Record Detail page. Conga Composer Solution records serve as another (more UI based) method to build and manage that custom button/link in case an Admin is not comfortable ...

A validation rule won't help here. Those are best used for DML operations (insert/edit) to ensure criteria are met. "All fields" is too wide of criteria to be used in a validation rule. Instead, have you considered making most/all of the fields for the object required on the layout? This would solve your problem without really requiring much change. ...

I've had a good experience with WebMerge: https://webmerge.me Pros: Flat pricing regardless of #of users Ability to generate other document types (XML, HTML etc) Cons: Not as neatly integrated into SF as Conga Support could be better

If I understand correctly your data model, your SOQL will look like the following: SELECT Contact__r.Name FROM Reference__c WHERE Project_Reference__c IN (SELECT Project_Reference__c FROM SBQQ__Quote__c WHERE Id = '{SBQQ__Quote__c_Id}')

The issue I had was that the Sandbox I was working in was using a trial version of DocuSign. It appears these features are unavailable in the trial version. Once I tried it in a Sandbox with an active DocuSign license this worked as expected.

As the error states, you cannot specify related fields in the inner SELECT statement -- you can only specify fields that are in the object itself. There is a Product2Id field in the OpportunityLineItem object (see documentation) so you should be able to use this field: SELECT ContentDocument.Id FROM ContentDocumentLink WHERE LinkedEntityId IN (SELECT ...

You should call the JavaScript method from onComplete instead of onclick. Because before your action complete his exceution you JS method get called with blank Id parameter <apex:commandButton value="Generate Invoice" action="{!GenerateInvoice}" oncomplete="openConga(setOfIds, '{!Payment_Id}')" reRender="table1"/> Also, I suggest you pass the ID in ...

Given the way that Repeating Dynamic Formulas work in Excel Templates in Conga, and assuming that the first row of Label 1/Value 1.1 is not all the way on top of the Excel spreadsheet, you can maybe try something like this: &=&=IF(A{-1}="Label 1", "Label 2", IF(A{-1}="Label 2", "", IF(A{-1}="", "Label 1", ""))) (replace the column A with whichever ...

I'm in Conga's support team, and I've been investigating this for one of our customers. Here's what I found out: When merging a hyperlink field into a Word IF field, I found that not using the "Click here" display text works when merging to a PDF document, but not when merging to a Word document. However when merged to a Word document the link does actually ...

Conga Composer will provide Opportunity, Account, and Product Line Items by default on the Opportunity object. If you need information from related objects, I would encourage you to use Conga Queries to gather that information. With Queries, you can access fields from any related object(s). Steps 1. Create a new record in Conga Query object 2. add the ...
