You need to make sure that you run the report with the boolean includeDetails set to true if you want the row data. For synchronous execution use runReport and for asynchronous use runAsyncReport. After that you can get the ReportResults from the ReportInstance if you are running asynchronously or directly from the return of the runReport if running ...

There is no way to obtained this, I doubt even Salesforce actually uses SOQL inside the reporting engine. To get a better developer perspective on the report definition you could use the Force.com IDE tool to download the report (which uses the Metadata API). I've heard of some off platform solutions using this information to parse the report and generate ...

Ok I got it after reading the release notes. http://developer.force.com/releases/release/Winter14/AnalyticsAPI You can only get up to 2000 records using this API. What's the use of an API that doesn't give me all the data, I don't know. And they could have stated it in the developer docs. Wasted 2 days on that.

SQL is a more traditional and widespread query language. It is ubiquitous and not at all limited to just Salesforce. The one place it is used within the Salesforce system is Marketing Cloud. SOQL is the basic query language used in Apex, the REST API, etc. (reference): Use the Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) to search your organization’s Salesforce ...

If you're building the url to standard SF page (/<reportId>?<some params>- you're not using Analytics API. I had the same question some time ago (maybe we should vote to merge?): screen scrape Salesforce with REST GET call from Apex As for real export using Analytics API ( /services/data/<latest API version>/analytics/reports/<report ...

I don't believe these objects are supported by Salesforce Analytics as per the Wave Data Integration Guide - Page 15. With the help of Salesforce Shield you can track 60 fields per object and duration upto 10 years by default. Refer Field Audit Trail You would define the history retention of custom duration on a per-object basis using the Metadata API, which cannot be possible through Salesforce UI. Refer Field Audit Trail Implementation Guide Here is an example: <?...

You are missing the parameter "allData": true, This boolean flag specifies how many records are returned. The quoted document (page 39) mentions clearly When True, all report results are returned. When False, detailed data for the first 2000 report rows are returned.

Try wrap it with link to your report like this: <a onclick="window.top.location = '/REPORT_ID'"> <analytics:reportChart reportId="REPORT_ID" size="tiny" cacheResults="false"></analytics:reportChart> </a>

As of today for Salesforce1 Mobile, there is no separate Apple Watch app that installs on the watch. There is the default notification support which Apple Watch provides anyway. There is the Wave/Analytics Cloud app that you mention. There is also an Apple Watch project that can be found in a repo on the developerforce github account. I played with it.....

It all comes down to the same thing. Salesforce Einstein Analytics or Einstein Analytics (Wave) is the name of the technology powered by AI. Analytics cloud simply refers to the platform for connecting data from multiple sources and creating interactive views of that data, which is powered by Einstein, or again, Wave or Einstein analytics.

in the Report Type, click on the field you want to change, then click Edit Properties and you can change the "Display As" property, which will change the column header

Please be aware, that Conversion Tracking and Web & Mobile Analytics Collect Code are two different applications with different use cases. The first one indeed solves your use case, since it keeps track on conversions coming from emails - You can use this data for reporting purposes. It however uses an entirely different tracking script than W&MA. ...

This guide explains how to decode the fact map: https://resources.docs.salesforce.com/sfdc/pdf/salesforce_analytics_rest_api.pdf Basically, the 0!0 you're getting is just the results of the first subtotal of the first grouping, and each grouping has subresults that you have to process to get the underlying data. Here's the relevant section of the docs:

You mentioned you are using a custom Report Type with Opportunity as the parent object. If an Opportunity has multiple child records under it then the Opportunity rows on your reports will be repeated for each child object, for example, if your Opportunity had 5 of your child object, the Opportunity fields will be repeated 5 times. However, if you look at ...

I'd suggest you look at two different references. The first being Chapter 10 of Force.com Platform Fundamentals. The other reference I suggest you look at is the analytics workbook. You said: I set up my report to show me all sales made in the last month, and then set the analytic snapshot to run on the first day of each month. and However, how do I ...

It seems like it would be easier to display the tree vertically instead of customizing it in its current orientation, but of course let us know if that is an issue. I don't have specific documentation to support this, but the developers you spoke with are right: the SF reporting engine does not include summary rows for which there is no underlying data, and there is no way to change that behavior. You have two possible work-arounds: 1) Ensure that there's always data. This is rarely possible given the variety of ...

I've figured out that I just had to add ACCOUNT_ID as it is case sensitive: filter="{column:'ACCOUNT_ID', operator: 'equals', value: '{!Id}'}" That worked out!

Wendy - are you asking for something like this: If so then you can just use the standard reporting, no snapshot required. The tricky part for a specific time period. You'll have to play with the report criteria to include only those dates from previous year and current year time frames. With the new field, week numbers (listed below) you could use that ...

Are you registering your dataset? After all your extraction and transformation you have to register the last step in order to actually create the Dataset. Not yet, the only way to get something like this done is to create a custom component with your dashboard in it and put it on the lightning homepage. However, you can ofcourse drag multiple repport(chart) components into your homescreen and create your dashboard that way.

This was a bug which has been patched. Multiselects are now supported in embedded filters without hacky workarounds.

If you have already done the integration, you are just probably missing this step: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=mc_co_update_page_layouts.htm&type=5 You can find all the info about the object and how to see the data. Good luck.
