When I login into Workbench, it takes me to Salesforce Classic instead of the Workbench, and I am getting this error in Classic. Can someone please help me with this?

The value of the "source" parameter contains a character that is not allowed or the value exceeds the maximum allowed length. Remove the character from the parameter value or reduce the value length and resubmit. If the error still persists, report it to our Customer Support team. Provide the URL of the page you were requesting as well as any other related information.

    I assume you are not referring to the publicly available workbench here?! If you refer to a workbench instance your company set up, you'd better ask someone in your company - or provide much, much more background information here.

  • Hi Felix, I figured it out. I was using a favorite browser url to login into workbench (it was pinned). so something in the browser cause the source parameter error, so when I log into workbench w/ out using the favorite browser it worked. my problem is resolved by opening a new browser and loggin into workbench.
