I'm following the Transaction-Based Replication Steps that are introduced in this link:

https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.change_data_capture.meta/change_data_capture/cdc_replication_steps.htm

BUT my downstream system is always 1 step behind the Salesforce. because I'm committing changes to my database after the "transactionkey" changed. it's eventually consistent but I need Strong consistency in my system.

Do you have any idea?

  • Your question is a XY Problem or a misuse of terminology. Data replication across application boundary is not strongly consistent by definition. If you want hands off out of the box replication, look at Heroku Connect. Else - you're going to have to deal with various data replication scenarios such as keys being out of sync or gaps.
