Formula result is data type (Boolean), incompatible with expected data type (Percent)

I am trying to calculate the % of a campaign that is funded by using the following formula:

Percent_Funded__c = (AmountWonOpportunities) / (ExpectedRevenue)

I custom created the percent_funded__c field, and the others are standard in the non profit success platform

However, I get an error

Formula result is data type (Boolean), incompatible with expected data type (Percent).

What should i do?

You can't just skip over the steps in creating a field here. After you select that you want to make a formula field, the next page should ask what type the formula will return. Boolean (Checkbox) is the wrong option here. You need to find a type that is compatible with what your formula will be doing (i.e. you wouldn't select the "text" type if you know your formula is going to be adding numbers together).
