I can't manage to put a sldsclass on my buttons in a pageBlockButtons the class applied by the pageBlockButtons seems to override the class I put because it is higher in the hierarchy.

<apex:pageBlockButtons location="bottom">
    <apex:commandButton action="{!save}" value="Save"/>
    <apex:commandButton action="{!cancel}" value="Cancel" styleClass="slds-button slds-button_destructive"/>
</apex:pageBlockButtons>

But my buttons still have the same styling
