We have a requirement where we need to periodically export all documents out of salesforce.

I tried the following:

  1. Data loader / dataloader.io but then these gives export in csv file and the content is in base64 format.
  2. Exporting Content from Salesforce This will not work for our scenario as we would need an way to export all documents in an automated way.

Does anybody know any way to export all the actual documents from content version in an automated way ?
