I have a service in which we send a new updated Account to an external System, and then we generate a pdf for sending to user email.

The process is okay, but they problem is that, when created and the sent email, the subject appears like this:

Sandbox: New Request to Activate Account in ExternalBusiness: {!Account.Id} - {!Account.Sales__c}

So, the idea is that the field values appear in place of the code lines {!Account.Id} - {!Account.Sales__c}. Like this:

Sandbox: New Request to Activate Account in ExternalBusiness: 000102dadwtest - Sales001

What could be the problem? I can put some code here, but is a wide service.

SOLVED: I tried to replace those fields in APEX and it didn't work, so I used this format:

Sandbox: New Request to Activate Account in ExternalBusiness: Account.Id - Sales__c , and I did a String.replace() with the desired field values managed by APEX controller.

  • Which type of email template are you using and how are you passing the values to email? It would be better if you add the code snippet of the email sending process here. – Kalpana Apr 23 at 12:11
