Formula Field to display on Email template

Question

I have five url fields on a custom object, an email template is created to send out the email to users with the custom object(record) content. My requirement is, I should display the url links in the email template, if there is one or more url fields have data in the record. Hence I have to create a formula field of text data type. Tried doing it, but this isn't displaying the link value and if the record has more than one field value, it doesn't work.
