I am trying to refresh the page once the flow is completed using the lightning component I downloaded from here https://unofficialsf.com/update-screen/ but it doesnt refresh the page. I am not sure what I am missing here. Below is the flow where Screen is the where I have the users choose from picklist option

but when the flow is executed the and the record is updated it comes back to the record page but it is not refreshed. I am not sure what I am missing here.

When I debug I see that recordId is passed to the lightning component and there are no errors

Looking at my org, one see I thing that I did differently than you was that I used a Quick Action and not a custom button

Quick Action

  • Name: Transfer_Case
  • Label: Transfer Case
  • Flow: Transfer Case TIS /* assuming this is the label of your Flow */

Flow Quick Actions implicitly pass the object's ID into a variable called recordId which must be defined in the Flow as a Text variable, enabled for input.

In the updateScreen component, I did not include RecordId as input, just defined {!recordId} as the output value (as you did too)

  • I added screenshot of the recordId in the flow with Input enabled. The issue is I cannot using Quick Action in our org. The Case has feed tracking enabled it shows Quick Actions on Chatter feed on Case layouts . Is there any other workaround for this. – user81642 Apr 15 '20 at 1:17

Instead of using button for calling flow use , Actions. You can refer below video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBwjsEASWfc&t=2s&ab_channel=Pratima
