I'm trying them all and it seems impossible.

The thing I'd like to do is call the "Create PDF" Quick Action for the Quote object from a LWC.

I tried debugging the browser and see what happens when you click that button and I believe I found the definition of the standard lightning component that is being used to create that modal but I have no idea on how to call it from my page.

Alternatively I'm trying to call these actions from Apex but the documentation isn't really explicative and there isn't a spot where to find the exact api name of the quick actions on specific objects.

Has anyone done anything like this?

As far as I know and considering this, for now LWC doesn't support it.
As a workaround that I came up with the creation of aura components where you put your LWC components. Then calling quick actions from aura components on events from LWC.

  • Thanks for the link, didn't know about that. I'll consider using an aura component, hope they get lwc updated soon. – JQKAndrei Dec 10 '19 at 11:41
  • @JQKAndrei please accept this as the answer if it helped you. As of this post, LWC still does not support the Quick Action API, though that can always change in the future. – nbrown Mar 11 '20 at 12:59

As per now its not possible to invoke quick action from LWC, but possible with the combination of LWC and AURA Here is the link: http://theblogreaders.com/call-lightning-web-comopnent-salesforce-quickactions/

  • The link you added seems to be the opposite direction of the original question (i.e. the article link is showing how to include an LWC in a quick action). – Vincent Ip Dec 9 '20 at 19:45
