I have created a LWC that displays a table of information for a user. I created a html lightning input, that looks like this.

<td><lightning-input key={row.key} data-key={row.key} value={row.aucNotes2} onblur={handleRowAction} name='auctionNotes' class='slds-p-bottom_small'>{row.aucNotes2}</lightning-input></td>

This displays the notes that are currently in the Auction_Notes_2__c field name and allows them to add to them. The onblur event I have in my javascript keeps erroring out however and I can not seem to figure out a way to save the added notes. Any ideas on how to do this? I have this outline of javascript as of right now.

handleRowAction(evt) {
    this.loading = !this.loading;
    const notes = {};
    let recordInput = {};
    this.rows.forEach(item => {

    //Another function used in the HTML portion that updates records
    updateRecord(recordInput).then(() => {
        this.loading = !this.loading;
            new ShowToastEvent({
                title: 'Notes Successfully Updated',
                message: 'Notes updated',
                varient: 'success'

The loop is blank because the things I have tried in there have not worked. I am assuming that there is an even easier way to do this that I can't seem to figure out.
