I've a requirement to allow customer users to create cases on behalf of other contacts from different accounts. Account are shared via apex sharing/manually.
User is able to select contact in lookup from shared account. But once submitted, Contact field of case is always coming as the logged in user's contact even if I update Contact field in trigger/process builder.
I was able to achieve by giving Super User but Contact is changed back to Case Submitter Contact if any internal user updates the case(not necessarily the contact field. Any update on case by internal user change the contact to Submitter's contact).
Is there any way to achieve this or have to be considered as Salesforce Limitation.
