I want to change the Salesforce System user in Marketing Cloud. I am using Marketing Cloud Connector for the integration between Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud. Now i want to update Salesforce System User but i not able to do it. It keeps on showing the previous user.

I have created a new user in sales cloud and Marketing Cloud and gave them necessary permissions.

Do i need to disconnect it first?

I got the solution to this.

Just disconnect your Marketing cloud first and connect after providing your salesforce credentials. It will automatically take the Salesforce System user.

In order to update the API user in Salesforce CRM, I suggest you to follow this link

In order to update the API user in Salesforce CRM, I suggest you to follow these steps:

  • Login to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Under your name, click on Administration
  • Over Account and click on Salesforce Integration
  • Click Edit
  • Change the Tracking User Name by the newly created SFDC user

If not working try to disconnect.
