I have a record which is submitted to approver (lets say user 'A') to approve. When user A logs in he can see the approve actions('approve/reject') for the record because he is the actual approver. Another user (user B) with the same profile and permissions as user A logs in he can see the record but not the approve actions. Is there way to give approve actions to multiple users regardless of who the approver of the record is?

  • try to give visible all access to user A – Ratan Paul May 2 '17 at 13:52
  • @ratan user A has the access i am asking to user B. – Venkata Mahesh Dasari May 2 '17 at 14:00
  • ahh my miss, is your object is private or public read only? – Ratan Paul May 2 '17 at 14:06
  • both the users have full access on the object . i am referring to approve actions to user B. – Venkata Mahesh Dasari May 2 '17 at 14:13

You could do this, though it seems like it would defeat the purpose of an approval process.

  • Set the approver to a queue
  • Add all internal users to the queue (via public group - all internal users)

I am not sure if this would trigger approval assignment Notification to all internal users, but that might be a problem. If so you can set a queue email which should cause the notification to be sent to that email instead.
