We are using FullCalendar.io to display events in a Lightning Component. Since the Spring 17 release, we are getting the following error in our Sandbox when Locker Service is activated:

Uncaught TypeError: n[o].hasOwnProperty is not a function throws at /Forum/resource/1484134295000/jQueryUiMinJS:8:5035 TypeError: n[o].hasOwnProperty is not a function

at Function.t.widget.extend (jQueryUiMinJS:8) at Function.t.widget.extend (jQueryUiMinJS:8) at Function.t.widget.extend (jQueryUiMinJS:8) at Function.t.widget.extend (jQueryUiMinJS:8) at Function.t.widget (jQueryUiMinJS:8) at jQueryUiMinJS:12 at jQueryUiMinJS:8 at Object. • Using jQuery 2.2.4 should resolve this issue. If not you may also need a newer version of FullCalendar (3.1.0). – TrevorBliss Jan 13 '17 at 19:29
  • Hi. Updated to the latest version of JQuery and JQueryUI. Still the same error. Also have newest version of FullCalendar. – SalesforceDan Jan 16 '17 at 15:59
  • Did you try jQuery 2.2.4? – TrevorBliss Jan 17 '17 at 2:11

Hi, I just had the latest version. I've just tried 2.2.4 and the error is gone, but the dates in my calendar now no longer show dates, they show a function? 'function (a){return this.localeData().months(this,a)} function (){return T(e.apply(this,arguments),b[1],b[2])}' I think this is a moment.js issue now? – SalesforceDan Jan 17 '17 at 8:34

Can you please update to the jQuery to latest version. I think jQuery 2 and above is compatible with locker service

  • I would appreciate if you can post your component code. I can try it in my dev org and let you know what the issue is. – RedDevil Jan 17 '17 at 2:14
