I have process builder

Update Contract when Opp condition is true

Condition on basis of which it update Condition on basis of which it update

In Update record enter image description here

I used Opportunity.ContractID to update contract linked to Opp. But it is not updating the record. I am not able to figure where exactly is the problem. Attached debug logs:enter image description here

Nothing wrong with your process, but you probably forgot to set the start criteria right, like in this example below. Since the record was already there when you updated it. enter image description here

Another thing: You could check user permissions. You need to have the activate contracts permission to be able to edit activated contracts.

  • I am using the same criteria but still not working!! I am not able to find the reason, in debug logs, it shows process builder has been triggered, but not updated the record. – sfdc rowdy Feb 22 '16 at 9:22

  • User is System Admin, hence he is having permissions. – sfdc rowdy Feb 23 '16 at 17:13
  • I would try to update another field on the record just to check if your process is allright. You then know your process is with the status field – Fred Feb 23 '16 at 22:45
  • I have changed the immediate action with Customer Signed Title referenced [Opportunity].NextStep, which means next step of Opportunity will populate in Customer Signed Title on Contract but it still not working. – sfdc rowdy Feb 24 '16 at 11:08
