Feb 12, 2015 at 22:19 comment added Eric @Xtremefaith - Yes. I do not recall the limit but yes, when you reach the number of rows the error you see will be thrown.
Feb 12, 2015 at 22:18 comment added Xtremefaith @Eric is that only true because of how many rows are being returned? Because otherwise the map populates just fine. I had done this because I learned about it here: salesforce.stackexchange.com/questions/5288/…
Feb 12, 2015 at 22:15 comment added Eric Your error is not due to an sql error it is due to the fact that the returned records cannot be directly assigned to a map. You need to use a for(Object a : query) map.put(key,a); to populate the map instead of the map xxx = New Mapxxx([Query]);

Feb 12, 2015 at 18:55 comment added Xtremefaith @ChristianDeckert the purpose in this instance is to map all the CampaignMembers effected by ContactId's touched when Quotes are updated by their Campaign. So the end result looks something like Map<CampaignId>,List<CampaignMember>>
Feb 12, 2015 at 17:17 comment added cropredy you are missing a comma after EndDate in line 1 - is this a typo?

Feb 12, 2015 at 8:41 comment added Christian Deckert Is the purpose of your query to get all contacts for a given time period? / Why are you updating so many records? Can you limit the number of campaigns by start and end date?
