And TBH my approach is better even if the entire component is to be "hidden" since it remains robust and allows the admin to grant or remove the ability using standard SF setup without the need for hacky use of profile names. The one thing I like about your answer is the use of "disabled" - the presentation of the button but disabling it when the user cannot deactivate. This could be used with my approach very effectively. | |
