I had to change if(updatedLead.ProductInterest__c != oldItems.get(updatedLead.Id).ProductInterest__c){ to if(updatedLead.ProductInterest__c != mpOldLead.get(updatedLead.Id).ProductInterest__c){ can you update your code so I can mark it as the correct answer?
