You can make your own custom path component to get the behavior you want without too much trouble (path itself is only 50-100 lines of code or so). Alternatively, you might want to create your own design, as I don't think SLDS has a wizard-like UI that supports your use case.
Jun 19, 2020 at 13:30 | comment | added | LWC_Beginner | [2/2]. If you see my above screenshot, user is yet to complete some things before we set step 3 (Unqualified) to complete. But he is curious to see whats in Step-4 (Nurturing). In that case, I need to manually update slds class to slds-is-active so that step 4 will highlighted.
Jun 19, 2020 at 13:28 | comment | added | LWC_Beginner | @sfdcfoc, thanks.. But, Sry. I guess my question was not clear .we are doing the same approach in actual code, But If user click on step 4, step 1, step 2 and step 3 shows as completed (green color with tick mark) ✅ . My intention is just to make it look like Active. It's like user has actually completed Step-1 and now he is curious about step 4.. he just clicks and sees what is in there. Every time user clicks, we render the testvar with different set of data on UI.When they perform certain operations, we actually set the flag which will actually say whether or not the step is complete.[1/2]
