Jun 27, 2019 at 17:07 comment added anxiousAvocado so I learnt that it is a known issue with Force:inputfield that if it is inside <div> block it does not render, issue : here I have a dynamic row logic, is there any other way to get a lookup using a different component or something at all?
Jun 27, 2019 at 17:01 comment added anxiousAvocado Tried doing exactly what you are doing, the field not showing at all now....same thing.
Jun 27, 2019 at 16:20 comment added anxiousAvocado I have to have a list of that object because there are dynamic rows...if I just create an attribute it will be impacted on all the rows. right?
Jun 27, 2019 at 15:48 comment added sdandamud1 instead of binding directly value="{!acc.Dependent__c}" try just create new attribute like what i did newContact and bind value="{!newContact.Dependent__c}"
Jun 27, 2019 at 14:58 comment added anxiousAvocado the standalone code you added, was that in lightning out? Because that is where the problem is.
Jun 27, 2019 at 14:52 comment added anxiousAvocado I added the updated code, all other fields are showing just fine, I will also add a screenshot.
Jun 27, 2019 at 14:48 comment added anxiousAvocado Yes, let me add update to the question with updated code for comp, controller and helper.
Jun 27, 2019 at 14:47 comment added sdandamud1 r u getting other fields?
Jun 27, 2019 at 14:42 comment added anxiousAvocado I updated it like the one you suggested but now I am not getting the field it self. rowItemList.push({ 'sobjectType': 'Docman_Communication__c','Select__c':'','PrimaryInformation__c': contactid,'Email_Merge_Field__c':'','SMS_Merge_Field__c':'','DocMan__c':'','Dependent__c':'','Rejected_Type__c': '','Rejected_Reason__c': '', 'Deadline__c':''}); component.set("v.docList", rowItemList); This is from the helper where I am adding a new row... and setting the values to DocList
