As far as I can tell, I don't think this restriction is explicitly documented. I suspect this happens because you can't create a sandbox while you're in a sandbox. I would definitely vote on an idea to be able to at least query this data. | |

I know in Setup menu you cannot see sandboxes unless you are in Production, but I would like to confirm the source of the information and then prepare an Idea to have Salesforce allow sandbox admins the ability to query SandboxInfo from non-production. My use case is simply that I am building an app that queries SandboxInfo and I am not ready for it to be in production ;) | |
