Nov 4, 2016 at 16:09 comment added sfdcfox @ZacheryTapp That's going to be mildly complicated because of leap years, but I think you'd need to change -15 to +75 to be "close enough".
Nov 4, 2016 at 13:19 comment added Zakk Tapp @sfdcfox our Quarters are typical (starting on 4/1, ending on 3/30 in 3 month intervals), do you think this will work?) I'm still running into snags.
Oct 13, 2016 at 14:21 comment added Zakk Tapp @sfdcfox much appreciated - I think this is going to work! We are testing now and modifying as needed!
Oct 13, 2016 at 2:35 comment added sfdcfox @ZacheryTapp you can adjust this formula to fit your needs. I was just trying to point you in the right direction. If IsClosed won't work, you can certainly specify stage names.
Oct 13, 2016 at 2:06 comment added Zakk Tapp @sfdcfox thanks for this - I'll give this a shot tomorrow. I like the idea of using IsClosed - but if we have other stages that are technically closed (e.g. when the donation comes through the door, we technically close the gift, but we use the stage to indicate that it still needs to be won with 'Closed Won - Send Thanks') would that still work? I didn't know about the custom permission - that's awesome!
Oct 12, 2016 at 20:52 comment added sfdcfox @AdrianLarson Yeah, there's no formula methods I know of that would allow them to know the fiscal quarter of an arbitrary date.
Oct 12, 2016 at 20:51 comment added Adrian Larson I guess if they implement Custom Fiscal Quarters they're stuck with Apex, eh?
Oct 12, 2016 at 20:28 comment added sfdcfox @AdrianLarson I meant IsClosed, actually. Thanks for the note.
