So now it's updating the field in real time... going to mark your answer as correct, thank you for all of the help!! | |

So if I go into an account after an order is placed and click edit anywhere and then save without changing anything, it will fire the trigger and update the value. | |

@sfdcfox thank you! this is just about working perfectly, only thing I can't figure out is after an order gets created, I have to either update the order or account one more time to get it to register the amount, I've made a quick video showing this: screencast.com/t/ZddnSNDY I've tried adding before insert to the sumOrders trigger but same thing, any idea?
